Community Safety
Did you know there is a local team that works to tackle different types of crime, anti-social behaviour and community concerns within your area?
These areas of work are known as Community Safety and the district has a local Community Safety Partnership who are responsible for actions and support to tackle these. The team, based at Erewash Borough Council, works closely with organisations to tackle the different concerns local communities might have. They are able to support you by providing advice on a wide range of areas including:
- ASB, both youth and adult related;
- Crime prevention advice for residential properties, personal property
and personal safety;
- Community concerns including gatherings or inappropriate behaviour
in public spaces or residential properties, confidential advice on specialist support organisations; and,
- General concerns involving community safety matters.
The team will be happy to talk through your concerns and advise you on the next steps you can take. Contact them;
