If you wish to apply, please send a brief statement to the Clerk with your contact details, letting us know why you are interested.
Please send your application in by March 25th 2024 and applications will be considered at the April meeting of the Council.
Eligibility Criteria
You must be at least 18 years old and a British citizen or an eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of any member state of the European Union, and meet at least one of the following four qualifications:
- You are registered as a local government elector for the parish;
- You have occupied as owner or tenant any land or other premises in the parish during the whole of the 12 months before the day of co-option;
- Your main or only place of work during the 12 months prior to the day of co-option has been in the parish; or
- You have lived in the parish or within three miles of it during the whole of the 12 months before the day of co-option.
